Hi, I’m Julia Chalkidis. After 20 years as a CAD Designer in the automotive industry working with brands like Bentley, BMW, and Ford. I never imagined I’d be building a resource hub for digital nomads. But three years ago, my son told me he wanted to work remotely from somewhere warm after finishing his Computer Science degree. That one sentence changed everything. I’m just a Mom who wanted to help her son chase a dream. So I dove deep, really deep into the world of remote work and location independence. 

What started as research for him turned into a full-blown mission: uncovering remote job platforms, tech tools, legal tips, and real stories from nomads living the dream. Nomads in Action is the result of three years of obsessive research, guided by the same precision and problem-solving I used in my design career.
